Go to Google Webmaster tools and sign in using your Gmail email address.Once the sign in, complete its time to add a blogger blog to webmaster tools. Click on the Red color button that says “Add a Site”.
Now a pop up URL box will open, enter your blog, web address (URL) in the text box. See image below for visual reference.
Press continue button now and your blog will be added to webmaster tools, but you have to verify it now. Verification is the confirmation process which confirms the ownership of the blog which you have added to webmaster tools.
Go to alternate section and pick HTML tag option as this is the most convent one, copy the html tag.
Note: do not click on the Verify button until you add the HTML tag to your blogger blog.
open your blogger account in new tab and go the blog which you have added to webmaster tool, then select Template >> Edit Html and search for the <head> in the template code. Paste the HTML tag just below <head> and click save button.Switch to webmaster tool and press the verify button now. You have added your blogger blog to Google webmaster successfully.
